Has job hunting been tough without a high school diploma?
You can increase your chances for employment in the current economy by
obtaining a GED certificate. GED certificates offer high school diploma
equivalency.
Allan Hancock College Community Education offers free General Education
Development (GED) test preparation classes to students who have not received
their high school diploma. Classes begin January 25 and are offered on
the Santa Maria campus as well as at several locations within the community.
GED classes help prepare students to take the GED exam and are self-paced, in
a personalized learning environment. A counselor is available to help in
developing a successful educational plan suited to your needs and schedule.
Registration is now being taken at Community Education (bldg S) on the Santa
Maria campus.
For details, see the Spectrum schedule of Community Education classes,
available at all campus locations, or go to
www.hancockccollege.edu, click the blue Class
Schedules icon, then Spectrum.
