Join your fellow fashionistas March 26 on a journey to the redeveloped center
of the California fashion industry. As the creative center of the industry, the
LA Fashion District is a top destination for wholesale buyers, retail shoppers,
designers, fashion students and Hollywood stylists.
The registration deadline for the tour is Feb. 24.
The tour departs the Allan Hancock College Santa Maria campus Friday, March
26, at 7 a.m., returning at 10 p.m. Cost is $45 (does not include meals).
Explore incredible values on clothing, fashion and home-decor fabric,
accessories, trims and much more. LA Fashion District is also home to the
largest selection of textiles and notions in the United States. During the drive
to Los Angeles, Community Education needle arts instructor Mary Jo Gabel will
present an instructional DVD about sewing.
Early registration is recommended. Register in person at Community Education
